All you have to do is drop the dats in the correct folder and it'll convert everything for you automatically. It gives you a parkobj file where you just have to edit object.json and the name. Still a bit of work, but should take away alot of the hand work.

This tool will automatically convert a dat file to an optimized parkobj file. It will also split legacy paths into three (railings, surface and queue).
To use this tool you have to drop the DAT files you want to convert in their folder (rides go into rides, paths go into paths, scenery into scenery and themes into themes). Then you just have to run
convertall.batand it will convert all dat files into parkobj files. The results you can find in the parkobj folder in their dedicated subfolder. It should take away most of the hand work and now you just have to edit the file name and all things in theobject.json(ID, Authors, Translations).Happy building!
